The Flying Stars is an advanced system of Feng Shui that has been used for thousands of years. It recognizes the pattern of energy impressed upon every home and building the year it was built or last renovated. Think of it like a building birthday. It is why you see some houses falling apart, covered in vines, and deteriorating. When the chi is gone, the house is no longer viable for living in. March 5 as the Full Moon nears, we enter the month of the Rabbit in our Water Rabbit year. Now last month started this year off with a backslide into the Tiger. This was like a 2022 review. Take a moment now to contemplate, journal, and process all that took place in February. Can you see aspects of last year? What are your takeaways, lessons, understandings? Now as we hop on into all things Bunny, this is our Energizer Bunny because it’s the year AND month. Are you ready to get the full vibe of 2023 in the next 4 weeks? FLYING STARS FOR MARCH 2023
Neutralize - The 4 Star is in the Center for 2023 has the 7 Star in March. The Metal 7 of injury, surgery, backstabbing, infidelity, bankruptcy, and violence crashes into our love nest for March. The Metal Broken Soldier Star is nourished by the Earth in the Center making this extra problematic. The risk is our romantic pursuits and relationships may experience some turmoil, Studies and creative projects may also have some trust issues. Best Colors/ Decor: Red, Fuchsia, Violet, Tangerine, Rose, Red carpets, fabrics, and prints with images of lovers, of you and your sweetie, and a love poem. Avoid: Earth like yellow, brown, tan, peach, rust, all shades of green, Wood, blue, Water and Metal like white, gray, black. So really all focus is on Fire. CURES: If you have the space, erect a Love Altar with 2 pink or red candles, a pair of birds, a favorite picture of you and your love, a pair of pink quartz crystal hearts, and any little treasures from favorite times together. You can do this altar to attract a love too. If you are an artist, you can do a cure instead to motivate creative pursuits with a Red Vase filled with pens, brushes, etc., also 4 Stalks of Lucky Bamboo in a RED vase. For March you may want to take your photos of loves away to protect this relationship from scandal, upset, and other problems.
Neutralize - The 9 Star of future wealth, and abundance is in the North for 2023 and is visited by the 3 Star for March. The 3 Star brings arguments, disharmony and suggests that the way forward on the purple wave of the 9 Star is hitting speedbumps. This is where you may feel challenged with things you are working on, the balloon of dreams coming true is popped, or you find your interactions with others are challenged. Best Colors/ Decor: Wood furnishings, all shades of Green, along with Purple, Violet, Eggplant, and Lavender. Tie this in to your carpet, pillows, and artwork that is themed with beautiful florals, and landscapes. Avoid: Water and colors of Blue, Metal and colors of black, white, and gray, Earth tones like yellow, orange, rust, brown, cream, peach, and pink. CURES: Great place to put a Vision Board of all you dream to manifest in 2023. Place 9 Silk Purple Flowers in a GREEN Vase. For a North facing house or bedroom, put a Red Arowana Carp Fish in a prominent place. People born on the Day and/or Year of the Rat are most impacted. The 3 Star is nourished by the watery North but weakened by the Fire, so much like the Center, neutralize this by continuing to add Fire.
Neutralize- The 7 Star is in the North East for 2023 and in March is visited by the Watery 1 Star of success. The Water of this Star is lost to the Earthiness of the NE. Best Colors/ Decor: Metal furnishings, all shades of Blue, and White. Bring this into your décor with rugs, pillows, and art that is tranquil like open sky with blue birds, clouds, blue flowers. Avoid: Earth tones like yellow, orange, rust, brown, cream, peach, and pink, actual Water, colors of Green, Wood, Red, Fuchsia, Violet, Tangerine, Rose, Red. CURES: A black bowl filled with rice topped with a Chinese coin and a bloodstone to absorb any negativity and to protect finances. With the 2 Star, if this is a bedroom or a room you use for hours a day, put a Salt Water cure and Wu Lou Health Gourd to protect health and wellbeing. AVOID this room at all cost as a bedroom and main entrance. Keep the room dark and undisturbed. For March I would bring some light into the room. This is not the worst scenario for right now.
Depress- The 2 Star is in the East for 2023 and is visited by the 5 Star. This is a TOXIC situation as we have the innate Wood of the East with the sickness star 2 and the Earthy 5 Star. It’s a lot of clashing, it’s a mix of outcomes and messages. There is no way to mitigate the Earthy 2 with the Wood of the East, and the 5 Star as another negative Earth Star is weakened too but still malevolent. This is a troubled location as this is the home of the Rabbit, where the Grand Duke sits. DO NOT FACE THE EAST OR BEGIN A DRIVE IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION. People born on the day or in the year of the Rabbit, Rooster, or Rat should avoid this for a bedroom, front door, or office. DO NOT INJURE THE ENERGY INSIDE OR OUTSIDE WITH BANGING, DEEP DIGGING OR RENOVATIONS. CURE: If this is a bedroom and you have no other options, ensure the head is not pointing East and keep a Health Gourd or Wu Lou by your bedside, and a Salt Water cure under the bed. If this is a Kitchen cover the burners when not in use with cookie sheets. If this is an entrance you cannot avoid hang outside the door a Ba-Gua mirror and flank the front steps with Gold Fu Dogs. On a prominent table feature a 2023 Tai Sui Plaque, and point a Pair of Pi Yao Beasties into the afflicted Easterly direction of 82.5-97.5. If this is an office, put a set of Brass 3 Immortals at your back for protection. Best Colors/ Décor: Focus on the innate colors of the East with landscapes, floral images, trees all in Wood frames. Colors of Green with Aqua, Teal, and Blue tones. AVOID: Fire in all forms inside and outside, colors of red, orange, fuchsia, rose, violet, Earth tones like peach, mauve, tan, brown, yellow, and Metal, colors of white, black, gray and moving Water. AVOID THIS AREAS OF YOUR HOME, WORK PLACE, AND YARD. Extreme Caution for March, friends.
Depress- The 3 Star is at home in the South East with all this Wood energy supporting a very grumpy, argumentative, kicking and screaming disharmony. The 3 Star is visited by the 6 Star which is Metal and is in a real duel with the Wood. The 6 Star want to bring you abundance and success but is injured in this placement. This most impacts people born on the Day or in the Year of the Snake and Dragon. CURE: In a prominent place put a Red Happy Hotei with lots of lush plants. With the 7 Star, ease some of this conflict with a BLUE Elephant to heal communication. This can be put on another table with lush plants. AVOID this as a conference room, meeting room, place of serious conversations. Be really careful with sharp objects and machinery. Best Colors/ Décor: Focus on the innate colors of the East with landscapes, floral images, trees all in Wood frames. Colors of Green with Aqua, Teal, and Blue tones for February. AVOID: Fire in all forms inside and outside, colors of red, orange, fuchsia, rose, violet, Earth tones like peach, mauve, tan, brown, yellow, and Metal, colors of white, black, gray and moving Water. For the 6 Star, I would add a little something Blue like a Blue vase of flowers, or a Blue Rhino is this is your office, or a Blue bowl of candies.
Neutralize - The 8 Star of Wealth is in the South and is visited by the 2 Star. Now the 8 Star feels good in this Fiery direction and the 2 Star is also an Earth Star nourished by the Fiery South. Here there is real risk to safety and health, and to the safety of your wealth. Be really mindful with money as a scandal could occur, especially if this is your office. CURE: Place an Earthen vase filled with 8 Red silk flowers in a prominent place, hang 8 Chinese coins from the door, if this is an entrance, another cure is a statue or picture/ tapestry of a Phoenix, or a Wealth Cabbage Bai Chok for wealth. Best Colors/ Decor: Red, Fuchsia, Violet, Tangerine, Rose, Red carpets, fabrics, Earth like yellow, brown, tan, peach, rust and prints with images of a Phoenix. Avoid: All shades of green, Wood, blue, Water and Metal like white, gray, black. If an entrance, try to use another door for this month, or use great caution. If a bedroom, you’ll want a Wu Lu Health Gourd by your bed to protect your wellbeing and health.
Activate - The 1 Star is in the South West is here for 2023 with the 4 Star visiting for March. This is the BEST room for March as the 4 Star, even being a Wood energy is nourished by the Water 1. Here there is hope for success in relationships, in studies, in creative endeavors. CURE: Add a single Gold Ingot on something BLUE. You can also opt for a Gold Happy Hotei sitting on coins. If this is the location of an office display a Red Ru Yi Sword to strengthen your career. Best Colors/ Décor: Focus on Metal, colors of white, black, gray - very Zen design. Images of wealth like a prosperous Queen, also mother, and woman of the house. AVOID: Fire in all forms inside and outside, colors of red, orange, fuchsia, rose, violet, Earth tones like peach, mauve, tan, brown, yellow, Colors of Green, Blue and moving Water. Be really mindful in February of looming disasters and avoid any construction or banging until this month passes. For March bring in Blue as in a Blue vase with flowers, or a Blue potted houseplant. Bring the pictures of you and your love from the Center and put them here for March.
Activate-The 6 Star is in the West brings great good fortune and the 9 Star is nurtured by this direction. This room promises success and prosperity. It is one of the best areas of the month BUT it sits across from the East, and so in opposition to the annual Rabbit, this is home of not only the Three Killings but also the Sui Po. Use it, enjoy the energy but DO NOT DISTURB WITH RENOVATIONS, LOUD NOISES OR DISTRUPTIONS inside or outside. The 9 Star is a Fire element so Earth Tones will create a mitigation with the Clash with the Metal. CURE: 6 Gold Ingots on something BLUE or a Gold Hotei sitting on coins. To assuage the 2 Afflictions sit a Brass Pagoda in the direction of 262.5-277.5 and a Silver Elephant in the direction of 232.5-307.5. A special cure you can also opt for is a 3 Celestials Mirror. Best Colors/ Décor: Focus on Metal, colors of white, black, gray - very Zen design. Images of mountains, transportation, sky, stars, moon, religious figures offering blessings. AVOID: Fire in all forms inside and outside, colors of red, orange, fuchsia, rose, violet, Colors of Green, Blue and moving Water. For March add some Earth tones like peach, mauve, tan, brown, yellow - 9 Yellow silk flowers in an Earthen vase would be one suggestion. You might also write a note with all that you hope to manifest in March and place it in a prominent place in this room where you can be reminded of that intention every day.
Depress - The 5 Star in the North West in 2023 is visited by the Earthy 8 Star. The 5 Star is a loaded gun of potential disasters in any and all area of your life. The money lucky 8 Star is lost. CURE: This toxic room should be avoided as a main entrance, bedroom or office. Keep this room dark, quiet, and undisturbed inside and outside by deep digging, renovations, or loud sounds. Focus on draining this chi. If this an unavoidable bedroom keep a Health Gourd or Wu Lou by your bedside, and a Salt Water cure under the bed. If this is a Kitchen cover the burners when not in use with cookie sheets. If this is an entrance you cannot avoid hang outside the door a Ba-Gua mirror and flank the front steps with Gold Fu Dogs.
