YOUR ACCOMODATION: The Shared Room offers a single and full bed with a radiant view of the front lawn. Wake up to the sun streaming in the eastern window and listening to the songbirds. There is a rocker to sink into with an inspiring book. The bathroom is shared.

This is an exclusive small group retreat for 1-3 women. It is in this intimate container that you are seen, heard, and held in sacred healing energy by your amazing retreat spirit guide, Nitya Griffith. Wintering is a state of mind, of being and it is that need to nourish, to rest, to compost life, to cocoon and this retreat offers all of that. It is through this self-care practice that you ascend refreshed. 

Escape to a healing oasis at Open Sky in Cumberland County Virginia where you will spend time in a soothing, comforting, refresh. This retreat offers quiet space for reflection, processing, and composting while gathering tools for living a life that is better balanced, self-caring, and enriching.

Your itinerary includes daily Hatha Yoga, meditation, journaling, self-inquiry,  Earthing and other nature connection activities, silent walks in nature, and farm to table vegetarian meals.

Proposed Itinerary which changes with the season:

Day 1

  • Arrival with circle to set intention, journaling and breathwork
  • Silent nature meditation walk
  • Yin Yoga with poetry
  • Farm to table dinner
  • Sound Bath Yoga Nidra

Day 2

  • Morning tea delivered to your room
  • Meditation, breathwork and Hatha Yoga
  • Farm to table breakfast
  • Morning Program: Journal Prompt with Mamma Earth Yoga Nidra
  • Farm to table lunch
  • Woods walk with forest bathing
  • Snack and Tea offered mid-afternoon
  • Tarot readings and/or soaker tub baths with scented salts offered during reflection/ free time
  • Farm to table dinner
  • Sacred Fire under the stars with journal prompt

Day 3

  • Morning tea delivered to your room
  • Meditation, breathwork and Hatha Yoga
  • Farm to table breakfast
