It may seem like a new year according to the Gregorian calendar but for millions if not billions around the world, the Lunar New Year is the one that is followed and celebrated. See the recently posted Blogs on How to Prepare and what the Year of the Tiger means for you and our world. So it is we are now in the month of the Ox and the Year of the Ox. This is a HUGE review or final exam for ALL that 2021 has been for you. Expect to see the next 4 weeks play out like a condensed version, the Cliff Notes, of what this year has been for you and the collective. It’s going to be intense, especially for those born on the day of the Ox, Dog, or Sheep. This is nothing short of an earthquake rolling through your life. This holds true for the USA and President Biden, both of which are born on days of the Ox. War, walk-outs, uprisings, threat to welfare, and great upheavals are all possible if not likely. Let’s see how the Feng Shui for January lines up.
January 4, 2022 begins the month of the Ox in the year of the Ox. Journal and reflect on the people, events, and experiences of this year ending. Pay close attention to all that is happening for you now. There is a lot to unpack.

ENHANCE – The 3 Star is in the Center with the Annual 6 Star. I say enhance because despite the 3 Star being argumentative and problematic, it is a Wood Star and a weak one at that, so the 6 Star is still our strongest presence in the Center. CURE: A Gold Buddha sitting on coins with Gold and Metal accents in décor and furnishings. Frames on any pictures are ideally Metal, Black or Gold. If this is a wall with no where to place anything, hang an image of wealth; it can be literally a picture of a pile of money, or a family at a grand feast, etc. AVOID RED, FIRE, Hot Colors, Wood, GREEN colors, and plants. Remember to extend your Ba-Gua into the yard and property.
ENHANCE – 6 Star with the annual 9 Star in the North East is all about future wealth and the successes you’re experiencing now. Money is just flowing in, especially if this is your front door, or office location. A great room for planning, dreaming, managing finances, investing, and starting something new. The 6 Star is another wealth Star and brings more bang to your buck for sure. CURE: Place 9 silk Purple Flowers in an Earthen vase. If you put a Vision Board of all you dreamed of creating and manifesting in 2021 now is the time to take it down and see what actually became a reality. The color is PURPLE. In January add 6 Gold Ingots with a clear quartz crystal to a prominent place it the room.
ENHANCE – The 1 Star moves into the East with the Annual 4. The beautiful chi of the 4 Star with all the sweet romance, creativity, and acumen for good studies is met with the Watery 1 Star bringing support and success. CURE: Decorate with floral designs and shades of green with healthy plants. 4 Stalks of Lucky Bamboo in a BLUE Vase along with a Love Altar complete with 2 Birds, 2 Red Candles, 2 Crystal Hearts and pictures of you and your love or, if single, your dream lover. For October, add more splashes of turquoise, teal, and blue in pillows or a throw blanket, etc. NO Fire or Red colors!
DEFLECT – The 2 Star is in the South East with the Annual 5 Star. The 2 Star brings sickness and more doom to what has already been the most afflicted area of the Ba-Gua for 2021. Focus on mitigating the negativity and try your best to NOT use this area of your home or yard. Close blinds, windows, doors and keep this room dark and unoccupied. That is your greatest protection. If this is your front door, use another entrance if possible. DO NOT DISTURB INSIDE OR OUT WITH CONSTRUCTION, NOISE, DEEP DIGGING, OR ANY COMMOTION. No other energy can Fly in throughout the year and assuage the horrific potential for negative outcomes in the South East of every home and office. CURE: If the front door, hang a ba-gua mirror and flank the front steps with gold Fu Dogs. If a bedroom put a Salt Water Cure under the bed and Wu Lou health gourds on the bedside stands to protect your health. Continue to focus on the innate energy of this direction with Wood furnishings and the colors green, striped or leafy design,, and healthy lush plants. AVOID FIRE and any red, hot pink or orange colors. AVOID THIS AREA OF YOUR HOME, YARD, AND OFFICE AT ALL COST.
Deflect – The 7 Star joins the Annual 1 Star in the South -The 7 Star really is a knife in the back of any good fortune the 1 Star could offer us. There is so much conflict here with Water and Metal competing with and conflicting with the Fiery South. This is also where the Peach Blossom of Romance, the second most sexy area of your home meets with injury and assault. Take heed. CURE: Beautiful lush plants, colors of green, floral designs with little pops of pink, violet, and lavender. AVOID METAL, EARTH, AND WATER as in the colors of Blue and actual water.
ENHANCE – The 9 Star is in the South West with the Annual 3 Star. The 9 Star as a Fire Star is in the harmony with the Earthy SW and is motivated to be more active in this placement. The 3 Star as a Wood Star is weak here, Wood covers Earth and so it is very weak, even more so by the presence of Fire. CURE: The annual cure is a Red Happy Hotei and accents of Purple in January.
DEFLECT – The 5 Star is in the West where the Annual 8 Star is visiting. MONEY $ was flooding in but now you must protect your wealth from robbery, bankruptcy, misfortune. DO NOT DISTURB THE WEST IN JANAURY WITH ANY RENOVATIONS, LOUD NOISES, OR DISRUPTIONS. CURE: REMOVE your 8 Yellow silk flowers AND REMOVE YOUR 8 Chinese coins. AVOID EARTH TONES LIKE Yellow, Brown, Terracotta, Rust, Burgundy, and Peach along with GREENS, WOOD, WATER, BLUES. Also NO Fire or Fiery colors. KEEP THIS ROOM DARK AND QUIET. Place a round Metal bowl here to absorb the 5 Stars negativity.
DEFLECT –The 4 Star is in the North West with the Annual 7 Star. Here we find the threat of violence, surgery, back stabbing, bankruptcy, fall from fame, and fire hazard meets with the 4 Star of Romance, Study, Travel, and Creativity. The 4 Star as a Wood Star is in direct conflict with the Metal element of the NW. This is just simply a battleground and the worst place for lovers to have a bedroom or a serious conversation. CURE: If a Kitchen, cover the burners with cookie sheets. If the front door, hang a ba-gua mirror and flank the front steps with gold Fu Dogs. Add BLUE, Black and White accents in rugs, pillows, towels, bedding, etc. Focus predominantly on Metal and Water colors. If you can sleep in another room, or enter from a different door, do so. The NW is a conflicted area of every home and office this month.
Deflect – The 8 Star in the North with the Annual 2 Star. DO NOT DISTURB THIS AREA OF YOUR HOME OR GARDEN WITH ANY BIG DISTURBANCES The 2 Star is sickness, malaise, and grave misfortune. The 8 Star brings wealth. Both are Earth Stars in a Watery direction so their potential for influence is damaged. CURE: If this is a main/ front door, hang a ba-gua mirror and flank the front steps with gold Fu Dogs. If a bedroom put a Salt Water Cure under the bed and Wu Lou health gourds on the bedside stands to protect your health. Metal is the best element to focus on with colors of Gray, Black, and White with a heavy accent of Blue. CLOSE BLINDS, MAKE THIS ROOM DARK AND KEEP QUIET.
