August 7th we have a month of Yang Wood Monkey energy influencing our lives. Monkey is Yang Metal with a little Water and a a little Earth. There is a surge of Water moving in so the chi is very cool and wet but also charged with Yang active, movement, and this could signal a more active hurricane or storm forecast. This also brings up the image of Metal cutting Wood as in trees being felled. The Monkey is changeable, it is tricky and a trickster, full of jokes and silliness, and a month when you can surely expect to see the unexpected. There will be surprises, and sudden changes. We are shifting, and adapting to a new time, one in which we will not be returning to that which was but rather evolve into that which is coming. Be open, be flexible, and be ready to accommodate as well as assimilate how this impacts your own life.
#2 Star is in the Center with the Annual 7 Star. We really cannot seem to catch a break this year. Last month the Center brought in fighting, disharmony, discord, an uprising, and potential violence. This month we have the Yellow Sickness Star in the Center and with the 7 Star we see surgery or hospitalization, especially related to the lungs. We are all put on alert to not soften our stance against Covid but rather to keep social disatncing, to keep staying at home more, and to please wear a mask in indoor spaces.
CURE: Hang an image or words of peace, prayer, or blessing in a Black or White frame. DO NOT DISTURB. A Wu Lou Health Gourd is a perfect solution to absorb the toxicity and protect health.
The 5 Star with the annual 1 Star in the North East brings the flow of success and abundance into deep dark shadows as the 5 Star foretells danger, bankruptcy, accidents and all matter of negativity playing out. DO NOT DISTURB THIS AREA. No construction and no loud noises. Be so quiet and leave this room alone for the month.
CURE: The best annual cure to keep in place is the Gold Ingot placed on something Blue and for August add a Metal chime or bowl to absorb the negative chi.
The 9 Star moves into the East with the Annual 5. The 9 Star is Fire feeding the volatile 5 Star ruled by the Earth element. This room or entrance is one of the most dangerous and volatile. AVOID THIS AREA AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT disturb. NO renovations, banging, digging, or noise of any kind including TV or placement of stereo system. NO FIRE as in a grill or fire pit. CURE: Hang a 6 rod Metal wind chime outside the Eastern corner of your home, close doors and windows here. If it is a main entrance and you can’t use any other, place a Ba-Gua mirror on the door, and Fu Dogs flanking the front entrance. If a bedroom and there is no alternative for where to sleep, put a Wu Lou Health Gourd by the bedside table and a Salt Water Cure under the bed. If this is a Kitchen cover the burners with cookie sheets when the stove is not in use. The placement of several healthy lush plants will also help along with images of landscapes and flowers.
#1 Star is in the South East with the Annual 6 Star Finally we have a positive combination in the South East with the 1 and 6 both promoting success and prosperity. CURE: Place a Brass or Gold Hotei Buddha with a healthy plant in a prominent place. Mitigate the Clash of Wood and Metal here with turquoise, and blue colors.
#6 Star joins the Annual 2 Star in the South along with the Three Killings and Sui Po. The 6 is Metal and clashes with the fiery South. With the 2 Star of Sickness here the 6 Star only adds to the conflicting energies. DO NOT disturb this room inside and outside with any renovations, digging, loud noises or banging. Use an alternative entrance if a front door, sleep in another room, and keep this room dark, closed off and quiet. NO FIRE. If this is a Kitchen be very mindful of the increased chances of food poisoning, choking, digestive disorders, stomach flu, etc. CURE: If it is a main entrance and you can’t use any other, place a Ba-Gua mirror on the door, and Fu Dogs flanking the front entrance. #8 Star is in the South West with the Annual 4 Star. This combination makes for one of the best rooms in you home or office. The 8 Star brings the potential for wealth. Fueled by the creative juices of the 4 Star, this is a great area for for creative projects being fruitful. The 4 Star is also romantic and increases fertility. CURE: Add 8 red crystals on a square glass plate. To motivate romance and relationship create a Love Altar with images of you and your partner with 2 heart shaped crystals, a pair of birds, 2 pink or red candles, and/or 4 stalks of Lucky Bamboo. For boosting creativity put art supplies in this room like an easel or a cup filled with brushes and pens. Colors of red, purple, violet, rose.
#4 Star is in the West where the Annual 9 Star is visiting. The 4 Star with the 9 Star makes this a great place for innovative planning, collaborations with future plans of manifesting abundantly. Let your creative juices flow here! CURE: 9 Yellow flowers, and add a jar of pencils, pens and brushes to give a nod to this creative energy.
#3 Star is in the North West with the Annual 8 Star makes for some contention. The potential is here for success, wealth, but also some arguemnts and friction in relationships. CURE: In a prominent place put 8 silk Yellow silk flowers, a string of 8 Chinese Coins, and as the Woody 3 Star is already weakened by the Metal of the NW you can be sure that the 3 Star will have very little influence.
#7 Star in the North with the Annual 3 Star. The grumpy, argumentative 3 Star meets with the fighting 7 Star to create a room with volatile chi. This is backstabbing, gossip, disloyal, and unfriendly energy suggesting you avoid this for a meeting room or office in August. CURE: Red Happy Hotei in a prominent place. Add greens and healthy plants. Focus on BLUE colors.
