The heat of summer is upon us now as we head into July. The one thing I am seeing in this Year of the Pig is the need to connect; whether that is asking for help or offering to help, to spend time with friends or spend time alone with your love. The Pig is social and our awareness is shifting more and more to social justice, social media, media, community events, etc.. The Pig is also about Santosha, yoga speak for finding contentment in the now. The Year of the Pig squeals for us to gift ourselves with self-care every day. So, the Sheep is hanging with the Pig, makes me think of that movie Babe, starting Saturday July 6th. Let’s see what happens. Hai Mao Wei – Pig Rabbit Sheep forms a Full Wood Trio in anyone’s chart in which those animals are playing. Wood is stronger now and this is the element of all natural life like plants, grass, trees, gardens, farms and this is a great time to connect with nature. Get outside everyday, walk in the woods, eat from your garden or the farmers market, bring flowers and plants into your home, inhale the fragrance of summer in a country field or your own backyard.

The 1 Star is steam in this hot fiery Southern direction and further weakened as it feeds the Woody 3 Star. Arguments and disharmony are invigorated now. CURE: NO FIRE or colors of Red, Orange, Violet, Rose, but do keep from last month that one large healthy plant.
#5 Star is in the South East with the Annual 7 Star brings a horrendous and toxic chi that you do not want to agitate in any way. No loud noises, banging or renovations this month. dKeep in mind the Sui Po is here (142.5-157.5 on the compass) and also need things to be super hush and quiet. Zen out in the SE this month. When this kind of energy is disturbed there can be immediate health, financial, shit just hit the fan kind of problems. CURE: Place a Brass Pagoda here for the year to quell the 7 and assuage the Sui Po. A round Metal bowl will hold and contain the negativity. PLUS a Wu Lou Health Gourd to absorb the toxicity arising with the 5 Star. Shhhhh
#4 Star joins the Annual 6 Star in the East and this month brings not only potential for success and financial boon from the 6 Star but romance, creativity, fertility, ripe with potential chi. CURE: Hang 6 Chinese coins from a window or door. NO FIRE or Fiery colors but instead focus on splashes of BLUE as in a throw blanket, rug, pillows, artwork, etc. this will support the positive chi and nourish the 4 Star’s Woody self. Add 2 Crystal Hearts to celebrate love in your life!
#9 Star is in the North East with the Annual 2 Star. The 9 Star is usually a wonderful future blessing energy except for when it combines with negative chi like the 2 Star here in the NE. Risk of fire, of electricity issues, of explosions, of health issues related to mental well being, circulation, and the heart are asking you to be very careful not to disturb this energy with loud noises, digging and commotion. CURE: If this is a bedroom, a Wu Lou health gourd and under the bed a Salt Water Cure (email me for recipe). If this is a front entrance hang a Ba-Gua Mirror and put a pair of Gold Fu Dogs to flank the walkway. NO FIRE, no barbecues or grills, or colors of Red, Orange, Violet, Rose, Rust, Yellow, Peach, Brown, Tan, and Earthy materials like pottery, china, crystal. Add something METAL like a round Metal bowl or a Gold Buddha.
#2 Star is in the North where the Annual 4 Star sits. The 4 Star ignites passion, creativity, good studies, and travel while the 2 Star brings sickness that deprives productivity and sours relationships. CURE: Vibrant lush plants, 4 Stalks of Lucky Bamboo in a Blue Vase. Focus on colors of Green. NO FIRE! Keep this area quiet and undisturbed.
#7 Star is in the North West with the Annual 9 Star and this is also where the Grand Duke of Jupiter or the Tsai Sui resides. It is a mostly positive area for 2019 as long as it is not aggravated by loud commotion, digging, renovations, etc. The 9 Star is a wonderful happy energy to socialize with parties and the 7 Star brings fighting, lawsuits, injury with sharp objects, and potential for violence. CURE: 9 Yellow silk flowers in an Earthen vase. For July add a Metal statue like a Buddha or Kwan Yin to quell the negativity.
#8 Star joins the West with the Annual 1 Star. Enjoy the wealth and good fortune here. A great room to keep brightly lit and active. CURE: A single Gold Ingot on a piece of Blue fabric will ignite money luck. For the 8 Star add 8 Chinese Coins around the single Ingot to motivate greater wealth.
#3 Star is in the South West with the Annual 5 Star. DO NOT DISTURB WITH BANGING, DIGGING, OR ANY RENOVATIONS. Calamity, accidents, sickness, and all matter of misfortune could befall those who rattle the cage of the beast residing in the South West. Keep this area dark, and undisturbed. The 3 Star adds mental confusion, anxiety, disharmony and fighting. The Earthy nature of the SW weakens the Woody 3 Star further so the effects are lessened as long as the area is not disturbed.
CURE: Wu Lou health gourd by the desk or bed, a Ba-Gu Mirror on the front door and Fu Dogs too to guard the entrance. 6 Metal Rod Wind Chime is also helpful.
